The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is one of the best smartphones currently running Android version 4 ice cream sandwich. But it was not an easy task to gain superuser right on this device. But now it is possible to gain root access or superuser right on this device with help of a tool kit known as Wug’s Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit. The current version of this tool kit is 1.4. The toolkit has all the required file rooting and unrooting your device, you can also backup your data with the help of this tool kit. But before rooting your nexus you will have to unlock the Bootloader Instruction for ulocking Bootloader is provided here.

- Download the toolkit from Dev link page and read full instruction there: Wug’s Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit
- Install it to a top directory on pc
- Launches it and select your device model
- Configure your drivers.
- Backup your data >> Unlock >> Root >> done!
